About her
Hi there, I'm a kind, honest, fun, and generous lady who loves her family and friends. I have a very positive attitude and am a very loyal friend. I'm looking for someone to share the happy times and to support each other when times aren't so great. I was widowed 13 years ago, but that doesn't define me.
I've just turned 67 .... how did I reach that age so quickly! I certainly don't feel it, and I've been told I don't look it either. Hopefully, you are retired or nearing, so we can go travelling together, either a last minute city break, or plan something further afield, and joining in with the fun. I've spent time in Australia and South Africa, and experienced India and Sri Lanka, and parts of the States, but there's a big world out there and I'd like to explore more. The idea of winter sunshine appeals, especially if golf is included in the itinerary.
Equally, it would be lovely to just enjoy time together at home. I live near the Surrey Hills, which is a beautiful place for lovely walks ... but not hikes please!
I like to keep fit and healthy, enjoying pilates and yoga, and running after the grandchildren.
I play the piano and love it when the grandchildren make a bee- line for it. I love my home and garden. I find gardening to be a great mood lifter and get great satisfaction from what I've achieved.
I love entertaining and hope you would like to join in too. I love a BBQ but I also love to dress up for a party or special occasion.
I'm a keen golfer, and play off 20, and ideally, I hope to find someone who also plays golf. If you don't, it's also good to have separate interests, sports, and hobbies. If yours are different, maybe I could learn something new.
I have 3 gorgeous grandchildren who are part of my life and, if you are in the same position, you'll understand the joy they bring.

You believe keeping healthy is important, and if you feel the need to take to the roads on your bike, dressed in lycra, or don the serious hiking gear, that's fine, but not something I wish to join in ... I get my exercise on the golf course a couple of times a week.
You'll appreciate fine dining and good wine, and enjoy a black tie event. A night at the theatre or cinema is so much nicer when shared with someone so I'd hope you would enjoy that too.
If you are a family man I'd hope that, in time, you would want me to be a part of that relationship, as I would hope you would be with mine. I treasure my friendships and would hope you would like to be part of that..... and one day be the centre of a special relationship together. I'm sure you're out there?
