About him
My name is David and I am a retired Driving Instructor and I have been a widower for the last 6 years.
I have a small circle of friends but they are very special to me and we meet each other a number of times per week and often go adventuring for the day somewhere and our priorities is to have fun and laughter which we do.
I have many many interests but my main one at the moment is my electric car which is well used and very much enjoyed and my large garden frequented by Foxes, hedgehogs, slow worms and visits from a heron and the odd bird of prey swooping in.
I love technology and all it does for me, I have a an electric bicycle for exercise and to help the planet and a DIY workshop.
I enjoy history, antiques art deco period especially, Music, live or recorded, I like museums, visits to art galleries and I have a small collection of paintings mostly by local artists ... there are so many things I actively enjoy, from toy fairs to exhibitions and railway open days.
I am reasonably fit and achieve what I set out to so I never get bored, I only use my television to watch my collection of bluray/4K movies and music concerts, but more so in the winter months.
But the most important thing to me, and would always be, would be my new lady to share in my life.
I am not an academic but I was amongst one the highest qualified driving instructors and assessors in the country and held NVQ level3 awards and was specialised in the transportation of highly dangerous materials and have won several driving competitions and featured on national television, I have also been featured in a national computer magazine for what I was able to achieve with a computer ... so I have had my little moments!
Many ladies shy away from making first contact but I have every admiration for a lady that can and does, so, don't be shy just a short "Hello" is all it will take.
