Not particularly good-looking, never well dressed, usually a little unkempt. not an overwhelming appealing proposition.
I worked at Westland Helicopters for 27 years and now due to life's circumstances I now live in a small Flat in a well run Retirement House with a great view of a wooded park and easy access to a theatre across the road, and everything I need in the town.
I am a free and happy man and live my life how I want to. I go to bed and get up when I want to, eat what I like, spend my money on what I fancy, dress comfy and casual, do a bit of housework now and again. My Hobbies, I build models and play an Acoustic guitar.
I am a fit and self reliant man with the ability to look after himself anywhere and in any conditions.
I am not perfect, I am an impulsive (risk taking) man with a inappropriate sense of humour. I am popular with men (Ran Fiennes the explorer once asked me to go on one of his expeditions.)
I see the funny side of life's complexities. As the song says "I get knocked down (several times) but I get up again."

I just want someone to share some quiet comfortable moments with, to care for and to make a cup of tea for, even bring you breakfast in bed. Push a Supermarket trolley around for you and wait while you reach around the back of the shelves looking for the long date items. Wait patiently while you try on all the outfits you have pulled off the rails visiting all the clothes shops in town, and hopefully share the last years of our lives together. (fat chance of that)
